Following Surveillance, Welcome 2 Nothing and Inner Anarchy, the band entered a new chapter with MONSTER in 2026. Produced and mixed by Enrico Tiberi and mastered by Pete Maher, the single captures the collision of machines and human intensity at the heart of Crushing State.
Alongside Ruiz on vocals, Crushing State bring together Mathias Thürk (synths and programming; ex-Minerve, Seadrake), Andre Feller (guitar; Dreadful Shadows, Solar Fake) and Mattia Tamborini (drums). Their sound fuses programmed electronics and industrial textures with heavy guitars and the energy of a live drummer — somewhere between electro-industrial, alternative rock and modern metal.
Founded by Chris Ruiz in 1998, Crushing State began as an industrial rock project. After a long period of inactivity, the project returned with a renewed vision — evolving into a full band that combines electronic programming, heavy guitars and live drums.
